The TEC3150 glue gun is a 230 volt hot melt glue gun with UK plug which uses 43mm diameter, 43mm long glue sticks or slugs. It is a more basic version of the “work horse” TEC3400 industrial applicator with exceptional reliability. 
The TEC 3150 is a High Output Applicator, dispensing up to 3.0kg of adhesive per hour (depending on the formulation), making it the ideal production tool for product assembly, packaging, sealing, electrical potting and encapsulation. Instant bonding of virtually any material ensures fast, efficient, cost effective production. The high efficiency 300 watt heater housing, coupled with a 195°C fixed temperature controller, guarantees adhesive at the right temperature just when you need it.
Please note: the gun should not be left standing idle for prolonged periods whilst switched on,as it does NOT have the ‘stand-by’ mechanism like the TEC3400.  If it is in use intermittently throughout the day we would recommend the TEC3400 instead.
Operation of the TEC 3150 is simplicity itself.  Once the glue gun has heated up initially, adhesive is extruded by simply squeezing the trigger, and the adhesive flow rate is regulated by trigger pressure. A valved nozzle ensures clean shut off.
The TEC 3150, loaded with two TECBOND 43mm cartridges, can never run out of adhesive as a cartridge always remains in the gun at the right temperature. Reloading takes just seconds.
A powerful 300W stainless steel heater cartridge, combined with the efficient heater housing, provides a fast 5 minute warm up, and the solid state automatic temperature controller ensures accuracy to within 5°C of the set temperature. This, combined with the non-stick PTFE barrel and easy-action trigger, results in smooth free-flow adhesive application.
Safety and efficiency are the bywords with the TEC 3150. It is designed to comply with world- wide industrial and electrical safety standards, and has a totally enclosed heater housing.
