The adhesive is ideal for point of sale packaging displays as it bonds to ABS and coated board; allowing one high quality adhesive to be used for most applications.  It is suitable for use on metals, wood, card, plastics, foams, paper, and fabrics where a good, close bond is needed at a cost effective price. It is also suitable for product assembly and the furnishings industry, bonding to wood and most furnishings fabrics and foams.  The long open time allows long edges to be effectively bonded.  The adhesive is suitable for use up to a temperature of 75°C. 
5/43 is a long cooling speed (up to 60 seconds dependant upon amount of adhesive applied), low viscosity, amber, hot melt glue slug suitable for use in 43mm diameter glue guns taking slugs 43mm long. 
5/43 is packed in a 10kg box containing approximately 170 slugs 43mm diameter and 43mm long. 1 box of 10kg will be supplied.
Hot melt adhesives are melted at 195C in a glue gun and the adhesive cools rapidly to form the bond.  Please be careful not to touch the molten adhesive with skin as burns will occur.  A 43mm hot melt, glue gun operating at 195°C is needed to use this product; not supplied.  Suitable applicators include the TEC3150, TEC3200, TEC6100, TEC7100 with 195°C thermostats from Power Adhesives. and we are available to advise you on glue gun choice from the TEC range of glue applicators using the contact details below.
